Gareth Jones

As University Web Manager it is my responsibility to ensure that the Brunel external and internal web presences are user friendly, accurate and up-to-date, and conform with house style, visual identity and accessibility guidelines. My main activities include:

• Day-to-day editorial and design control of the external, internal and extranet websites
• Strategic management of the University's external website as a marketing and communications platform
• Website design and application development
• Integration with the University's other web-based applications
• Project Management

The other main element of my role is to act as the liaison point between users, website editors across Schools and Services, and my colleagues in the Computer Centre who maintain the University's web infrastructure.
