Tell us about your educational and/or career journey since you graduated from Brunel?

After completing my Master’s degree at Brunel, I took a year to examine various opportunities and choose my career path wisely. While I was applying to various jobs and simultaneously exploring new business ideas, I also took this time to travel, which has always been a passion of mine. Exactly one year later, I landed myself a job as a Consultant that I started to thoroughly enjoy, and it has been three years of loving what I do.

How would you say your Brunel experience has helped you to get where you are today?

At Brunel, I was provided with a great opportunity to learn and grow as a person. Whether it was cross-cultural networking, engaging lecture discussions, trying my hand at creative writing or enjoying evening painting workshops, it all shaped me into a better version of myself and prepared me to face the challenges of the practical world with zeal and confidence.

Why did you choose to study at Brunel and why would you recommend Brunel to others?

It all began when I received my postgraduate academic excellence scholarship and decided to pursue my Master’s degree at Brunel University London; a decision I am proud to have taken. Brunel offers you more than a degree, it gives you the platform to grow in multiple dimensions and learn from all the great experiences it has to offer. It is an experience of a lifetime that I would 100% recommend.

If you could give one piece of advice to current Brunel students, what would that be?

Make the most of your time, don’t hold back from anything. Get those extracurricular activities in, try your hand at new skills, discuss ideas, socialise and have all the fun you can have!

What would be your top tip or key advice for new graduates as they begin their career journey after leaving Brunel?

As a Brunel graduate, you should be positive and confident about the skills you have garnered through this platform and apply them to achieve your goals. Be persistent and never stop chasing your dreams. A strong work ethic, perseverance and integrity is a proven formula for success in your professional life.
