Tell us about your career journey since you graduated…

After my graduation I went back to my hometown and became a lecturer at the National Academy of Education Management where I taught Multimedia Technology. During 2017, I took another challenge in Blockchain Technology and set up a small studio called "Icostudio" - a multimedia marketing / blockchain consulting company in Hanoi, Vietnam. In 2019, I moved to Budapest, Hungary and expanded my second branch there.

What does a typical day at work involve for you?

Marketing and pitching the business model, then I monitor team performances and set deadlines. I enjoy meeting customers from all backgrounds.

What’s been the highlight of your career so far?

Being CEO at Icostudio means a lot to me. I’ve enjoyed witnessing the gradual development of my company, especially in 2019 when the company expanded its partnership in Europe and Asia and took a high record in the sale.

How would you say Brunel helped you to get where you are today?

The multimedia and 3D technologies knowledge which I gained on the course has prepared me with the skills needed to run my company.

Why did you choose to study at Brunel and why would you recommend Brunel to others?

I chose Brunel because of its ranking as well as facilities. When I studied my postgraduate course at Brunel, I was able to approach new technology and get my hands on multimedia devices.

What is your best memory of studying here?

The staff. I still remember when I shot a short film for my project. I experienced some trouble with the camera as it kept showing a black screen, but luckily Mr Rakesh helped me to fix the camera.

If you could give one piece of advice to new students, what would that be?

The lecturers are very enthusiastic and you can gain more aspirations from them. Enjoy your time at Brunel - it will be the best memory of your life.

What would be your top tip or advice for new graduates as they begin their career journey?

You don't stop studying, even when you get a degree. If you learn something new and keep on working hard at it every day, you will achieve your future goals.
