The course has provided me with the opportunities to increase the educational experience I need to become the best teacher possible, to meet a diverse group of people and to develop my skills.

With each lecturer being really passionate about what they are teaching you know that you have the best possible support for your learning. You can build up your knowledge in a wide range of areas. Small classes meant that we were all able to become close really quickly. The support network formed as a result of this has made the course.

The course has provided me with the opportunities to increase the educational experience I need to become the best teacher possible, to meet a diverse group of people and to develop my skills. After Brunel I hope to go into Primary Teaching. The course has enabled me to develop my knowledge and skills in both academic and reflective practice which are both vital for any teacher.

The multiple placements have also provided me with a solid foundation of institutional experience that are valued greatly by prospective teaching courses. My placements were at Kumon Tutoring Centre and two local infant schools where I was able to observe and get involved in everyday school life, understand the demanding role of a teacher and learning about the various successful teaching techniques that can be used.

I feel more confident in school settings as a result of the knowledge I have gained from my placements. I was able to further my knowledge in areas such as behavioural management SEN over all three of my placements.
