How has American Football enhanced your Brunel experience?
Brunel has enhanced my American Football experience in many ways. The togetherness and brotherhood I built on this team Is something I will never forget. Winning my first Uniball championship with my teammates was one of the best experiences.
How has the Sports Scholarship Programme supported your development?
The gym and physio were a key part of my recovery and useful towards making me a better Football player. Also, the support from other Sports Scholars pushed me to be my best on the pitch.
What is your best memory of studying here?
My first memory of coming to campus was arriving for the very first time and meeting all of my professors. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which immediately made me feel comfortable. During my first week of lectures, each of my professors took the time to get to know me on a personal level, making every class engaging and creating a positive learning environment from the very beginning.
If you could give one piece of advice to new students, what would that be?
My biggest piece of advice to new students is to get involved early and ask for help when you need it. Build relationships with your professors, classmates, and university staff, as these connections can make your academic and personal experience much easier. Stay organized, manage your time well, and don't leave assignments until the last minute. Finally, take advantage of the opportunities your university offers, whether that's joining clubs, attending networking events, or using academic support services. Your time at university goes by quickly, so make the most of every opportunity
What would be your top tip or advice for new graduates as they begin their career journey?
My top advice for new graduates is to stay open to every opportunity and never stop learning. Your first job doesn't have to be your dream job, but every experience helps you build valuable skills and connections. Be willing to step outside your comfort zone, ask questions, and continue developing both personally and professionally. Most importantly, be patient with yourself—building a successful career takes time, persistence, and a positive attitude.
