Tell us about your educational and/or career journey since you graduated from Brunel?
Since studying Psychology at Brunel University London, I have remained passionate about understanding and supporting people in professional environments. Alongside developing my career, I have pursued creative work that aligns with this interest, becoming a co-author of Breathe, Then Go Again, a book exploring resilience and navigating difficult life and workplace challenges, and hosting a podcast called corporategirlpodcast, both focused on resilience, workplace challenges, and personal growth.
What's your current role and what does it involve?
I currently work as an Account Manager within an organisation that helps showcase the social impact and purpose-driven initiatives of corporate companies. My role focuses on managing strategic client relationships, developing commercial opportunities, and supporting partners in communicating their brand values and workplace culture. This involves working closely with clients to understand their objectives, maintain strong long-term relationships, and drive mutual growth and success.
What’s been the highlight of your career journey so far?
One of the key highlights of my career so far has been becoming a co-author of Breathe, Then Go Again. This project has been particularly meaningful as it allowed me to turn my passion for psychology and understanding people into a published piece of work that supports others navigating resilience and workplace challenges. Building on this, I deliver workshops with organisations, universities, schools, and charities, using activities from the book to encourage reflection and practical application. I have also worked with organisations such as YoungMinds, contributing to work centred around wellbeing and mental health awareness. Being involved in creating work with both emotional and practical impact has been incredibly rewarding and has strengthened my voice in conversations around wellbeing, growth, and professional development. Alongside this, I am also proud to have worked with large organisations such as Amazon, Vodafone, and Accenture in my role as an Account Manager.
How would you say your Brunel experience has helped you to get where you are today?
My experience at Brunel University London played a key role in preparing me for my career. The placement and work experience opportunities I undertook helped me develop essential skills for the working world before graduating, including communication, adaptability, and professionalism in real workplace environments. These experiences gave me early exposure to organisational structures and expectations, helping me build confidence and a strong foundation for my career. They also supported my transition into my current role, where I continue to apply and build on these skills in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Why did you choose to study at Brunel and why would you recommend Brunel to others?

I was also drawn to the diverse and inclusive campus environment, as well as the wide range of extracurricular activities available.
What is your best memory of studying here?
One of my best memories of studying at Brunel University London was being actively involved in the Hindu Society and taking part in cultural events and activities on campus. It was a really meaningful experience that helped me build lasting friendships and a strong sense of community while balancing academic life. I also really valued the collaborative learning environment within my course, where group work and discussions helped me grow in confidence and develop my communication skills. Overall, these experiences made my time at Brunel both enjoyable and formative.
If you could give one piece of advice to current Brunel students, what would that be?

What would be your top tip or key advice for new graduates as they begin their career journey after leaving Brunel?
My top advice for new graduates from Brunel University London would be to stay open-minded and patient as your career begins to take shape. It’s rare to have everything figured out immediately, so focus on gaining experience, building transferable skills, and learning from each opportunity. Don’t underestimate the value of networking, asking questions, and stepping outside your comfort zone early on. Every role, even if it isn’t your “perfect” job, can teach you something valuable and help shape the direction you ultimately want to take in your career.
