Tell us about your educational and/or career journey since you graduated from Brunel?

I completed the Critical Care modules only and they have helped in my day to day job as a Critical Care Physiotherapist.

What does a typical day at work involve for you?

Treating patients in ICU post-surgery or critical illness, treating acute chests, or completing rehabilitation.

What’s been the highlight of your career journey so far?

Bringing a patients' horse to the ICU to reunite them after 9 months in the ICU! It really helped turn the corner on this patient’s motivation to improve.

How would you say your Brunel experience has helped you to get where you are today?

I apply the knowledge gained from my two modules daily - I now have a much greater understanding of the principles behind illness.

Why did you choose to study at Brunel and why would you recommend Brunel to others?

Because of the modules offered being critical care focused.

What would be your top tip or key advice for new graduates as they begin their career journey after leaving Brunel?
