Tell us about your educational and/or career journey since you graduated from Brunel?

After completing my masters at Brunel, I was recruited into very good companies and have always got international exposure which enhanced my career.

What does a typical day at work involve for you?

A new day, a new start, a day to experiment and learn something new and share the new ideas and understanding with fellow colleagues.

What’s been the highlight of your career journey so far?

I have worked at different levels and in various roles at my jobs. Being able to explore new opportunities in the 3D printing setup was a learning curve in manufacturing.

How would you say your Brunel experience has helped you to get where you are today?

Having studied at Brunel and getting international exposure, as a graduate engineer I was assigned with major responsibilities in my first job and I was able to successfully address it without any concerns.

Why did you choose to study at Brunel and why would you recommend Brunel to others?

Brunel is one of the most recognised institutes in the UK and globally. It has always been well known for its quality and well-balanced education system in engineering and technology, hence why I choose Brunel and will always recommend it.

What is your best memory of studying here?

Being able to represent Brunel in the Shell Eco Marathon in Germany - it was the first time for the UK and Brunel to participate in this international competition.

If you could give one piece of advice to current Brunel students, what would that be?

Balance your education and personal life efficiently, as the courses at Brunel are already well balanced between theory and practical’s / projects. Please enjoy the studies and practical's and make the best use of this education system.

What would be your top tip or key advice for new graduates as they begin their career journey after leaving Brunel?

We should always have high expectations and goals in life, but we should not expect everything as soon as we graduate. Please try getting connected to alumni in your respective fields and explore new opportunities and guidance.
