The 20th Symposium will be held in June 2018 and will be hosted by Dr Klement Podnar in Slovenia. The conference is an important milestone of the International Corporate Identity Group (ICIG) which was established by Professor John Balmer , Director of the Marketing and Corporate Brand Research Group in 1994. He noted:

The 20th Symposium represents an important milestone not only for the ICIG but also for the corporate marketing territory. The ICIG has always been at the forefront of cutting edge research and scholarship in the territory and has been hugely influential in publishing special editions and books on the territory.
