Our first-year undergraduate Computer Science students are lucky enough to undertake their Group Project using the Raspberry Pi SwiftBots. Students design and implement programs that make the robot perform a variety of tasks, ranging from 'Object Detection' to 'Tunnel Vision' and 'Navigation', now with expanded capabilities for AI, large-scale image, sound, and environmental data processing.
This year, we're thrilled to announce the official release of the SwiftBot Connect Mobile App.
This is the very first enterprise-level pedagogical app built entirely in-house to support our students. Paired with the SwiftBot, the app provides a bespoke tool to enhance learning, enabling students to leverage IoT sensors, implement AI at the edge, and explore distributed computing in real-world scenarios.
For this semester, we’ve distributed over 450 SwiftBots, giving students the opportunity to start programming immediately and carve out their career pathway in cutting-edge technology.
The SwiftBot App was developed by our dedicated SwiftBot team in the Computer Science Department, empowering the next generation of innovators to experiment, learn, and lead in a technology-driven world.
