Dr Pin Lean Lau (Senior Lecturer in Bio Law) is part of the winning team that secured the UKRI Regulatory Science & Innovation Network funding. The team will be working with Digital Catapult and The Global Counsel from 1st March 2024.
The project will initially deliver a cohesive policy report and align outreach activity that explores national regulatory interventions and international approaches around spatial computing, the Metaverse and Web3. This is the discovery stage, and the team will be preparing for the 2nd implementation stage in August 2024.
The funding is approximately £50,000.
