Brunel Friday lunchtime concerts: Rising Star Concert; Sofia Castillo (Flute), Sally Goodworth (Piano)

Sofia Castillo was the 2017 recipient of the prestigious RCM Flute Prize and The Edward and Helen Hague Senior Woodwind Prize at the Royal College of Music.

Since graduating she has performed at many of London’s major concert halls including Cadogan Hall and St. John’s Smith Square.

For her Brunel debut Sofia will play a varied recital of flute music including Cecile Chaminade’s hugely popular Concertino in D.
