National Student Survey (NSS)

The National Student Survey (NSS) is an independent survey of final year students at all universities. It is overseen by Office for Students (OfS) and run by Ipsos Mori which means individual responses are confidential.

NSS data remains an important tool for helping prospective students make decisions about what and where to study in the future.

The results also enable Brunel to assess and improve our education offering and the student experience as well as assist OfS in monitoring the overall health of Higher Education satisfaction.

If you complete this survey before Thursday 28 February you will be entered into a prize draw for three £350, 30 £30 graduation photo packages and 100 £10 Amazon vouchers.

Why should I take part?

Students only get one chance to complete the NSS and give feedback on your whole academic experience at Brunel. This really is your opportunity to help make Brunel better for future students as the NSS is a key tool in helping prospective students make decisions about what and where to study. Many changes have been made on a University-wide level and in departments in response to student feedback over the years, have a look at them here.

Those who complete the survey before Thursday 28 February will be entered into a prize draw with a chance to win:

  • three x £350 cash prize
  • 30 x £30 graduation photo packages
  • £100 x £10 Amazon vouchers

How do I take part?

Students will receive their surveys on Thursday 24 and Friday 25 January via an email directly from Ipsos Mori.

Whilst you have until 30 April 2019 to complete the online surveys, to be eligible for Brunel's prize draw, you must complete your survey by 28 February to be in with a chance of winning.

Ipsos Mori will follow-up with students who have yet to complete a survey via telephone /email throughout April 2019 so why not avoid this by completing your surveys early.
