The West London Assessment Centre

The West London Assessment Centre (WLAC) is based at Brunel University London, a university with a renowned reputation for supporting disabled students and an award winner in the sector. WLAC provides DSA Needs Assessments for students studying or looking to study at any UK university/college, who have successfully applied for the Disabled Students’ Allowances (DSA). WLAC was established in 2006 and forms part of Brunel University London’s services available to disabled students. Being based at a university and having staff that are fully immersed in the Higher Education (HE) environment, particularly one with an award winning service, we feel we are best placed to understand the needs of disabled students in HE and identify bespoke support based on an individual’s needs in order for disabled students to achieve their goals.
We also operate two outreach centres at Buckinghamshire New University in High Wycombe and Royal Holloway University of London in Egham, Surrey. These are university campus based locations and we work cohesively with the Disability Teams based at these institutions to ensure we provide the best service to the students we assess at these sites.
To book your DSA Needs Assessment appointment at any of our centres, please email assessmentcentre@brunel.ac.uk or alternatively call 01895 266704.
The West London Assessment Centre is an accredited member of the Disabled Students Allowance Quality Assurance Group (DSA/QAG) and is a member of the National Network of Assessment Centres (NNAC).
