Your first day on campus

Moving in day: Sunday 15 September

We can’t wait to meet you! If you are living on campus we recommend you arrive on Sunday 16 September and our handy itinerary below should help you plan your day!

 Moving in to halls:

Bishop Complex, Lancaster Complex, Faraday, Chepstow, Clifton and Saltash Halls

Students living in the Bishop Complex, Lancaster Complex, Faraday, Chepstow, Clifton and Saltash Halls (Green, Red and Blue Zone) should use the following sat-nav post code: UB8 3PH.

You can enter via the main campus entrance on Kingston lane and follow all signage and directions given by the marshals (turning right at the first on-campus roundabout). You will be directed to the Wilfred Brown Car Park (Pink Zone) to pick-up your keys from the key collection point.  

You will be issued with a temporary permit for 60 minutes in a coloured zone  (Green, Red or Blue) that is closest to your accommodation. After the 60 minutes are up, you will need to move your car to the all-day parking zones (Pink). 

Isambard Complex, Mill, Flemming and Galbraith Halls

 Students living in the Isambard Complex, Mill, Flemming and Galbraith Halls (Orange and Yellow Zone) should use the following sat-nav post code: UB8 2TL

You can park on either Topping Lane or West Spur Road. There will be marshals on hand to help, it is then a 2 minute walk to the Wilfred Brown. You can then pick-up your keys from the key collection point. 

You will be issued with a temporary permit for 60 minutes in a coloured zone  (Orange or Yellow) that is closest to your accommodation. After the 60 minutes are up, you will need to move your car to the all-day parking zones (Pink). 

 

Trollies

There will be a limited number of trollies available to use for free for 60 minutes (£20 cash only refundable deposit required) to help you move items from your car to your room. These will be clearly shown on the documents given to you when you collect your keys and temporary permit.

Brufest

Once you have moved in, registered and completed the Big Hello, why not visit Brufest in the John Crank Gardens for live music, street food, games, drinks and more!
