Brunel University London, in conjunction with the Journalism staff and students is launching their very own local newspaper, Hillingdon Herald. Local news has never been so widely sought after, especially now in times of Covid. Together with the help of a dedicated Journalism team, both the Undergraduate and Postgraduate students have come together to fill the void in local news for the Uxbridge, Hillingdon, and Hayes area. Whilst our paper has been created by students, it is more local news than student news. To celebrate the launch of the Hillingdon Herald, there will be an official launch party in the Antonin Artaud Theatre on October 13th from 5pm where local dignitaries and all those responsible for this venture will meet to celebrate this success. Refreshment will be served and music provided by Brunel's very own music school.
