Techne: Funding for Doctoral Students

Brunel University is a member of Techne – a consortium of universities that distributes awards (fees and maintenance grants) for Doctoral researchers.

If you are finishing your post-graduate taught degree this year and are interested in taking your education to the next level, then you can find out more about how to apply by joining this Zoom webinar given by Professor Michael Wayne.

Applications will need to be finished by the end of December 2022 for a September 2023 start if successful.

The funding scheme is very competitive. Realistically you need to be on course for at least a 2:1 (Merit) in your MA/MSc programme. Eligibility: Techne is open to British citizens, EU and International students.

The only requirement is that you must be a resident in the UK during your research (excepting field research trips).
