Webinar: Black history studies organisation

Celebration of Black history and awareness raising to ensure that Black history is not seen e.g. exclusively through the prism of the transatlantic slave trade.

Date and time: Tuesday 4 October, 5-6.30pm
Location: Online

The hidden history of Africa before the slave trade is a visually stunning presentation that addresses one key question: What history do Black people have before the slave trade started? This lecture discusses the empire of Mali, the Yoruba kingdoms, medieval Sudan, medieval Ethiopia and the East African coast.
