Cyprus and the Eastern Mediterranean in a changing world

During a year when the news cycle has been dominated by the armed invasion of Ukraine by Russia, the recent history and humanitarian trauma of Cyprus have also become prominent again.

Join the members of the Hellenic European Leadership Council in conversation with his Excellency Andreas S. Kakouris, the High Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus in the UK, at Brunel University London. Mr. Kakouris is one of the most experienced foreign diplomats in the UK, having previously served as Ambassador to the United States, as well as Director of the Middle East and Africa Division.

His insightful opinions bring fresh perspectives to the region’s problems and opportunities and to the role Cyprus, Europe and the UK can play in this critical part of the world.
