Film Screening: The Manifesto

On 26 January, the Department of Social and Political Sciences is hosting a screening of the 2022 documentary film Manifesto, directed by Daniel Draper.

The film follows a group of activists campaigning for Labour in the 2019 General Election in the safest seat in the country, which is in Walton, Liverpool. Manifesto captures the hard work of the group over a three-year period, following them on marches and protests, giving voice to their hopes and their experiences, and underlining the commitment needed to enact change.

The Director will be joining us for a Q&A and discussion following the screening, and all are welcome.
