The Computational Biology Group at Brunel University London is very excited to invite all of you to the Brunel Bioinformatics Symposium 2025 (BBS2025). This year’s theme for the symposium is “Methodological and Computational Advances in Cancer Research.”
The symposium will be held on 5th and 6th June 2025 at Brunel University London. On the first day of the symposium, there will be talks from experts who will discuss their work on Protein Folding, Machine Learning, and Molecular Networks in Cancer. On the second day, you will have the valuable opportunity to demonstrate and gain new skills in our Data Science Hackathon.
We would like to invite doctoral and postdoctoral researchers working in Protein Folding, Machine Learning, and Molecular Networks in Cancer to come and share their exciting work (talks and/or posters) at BBS2025. The deadline to submit an abstract for a talk and/or poster is 12th May 2025.
Doctoral and postdoctoral researchers travelling to Brunel from outside London and selected to give a talk are eligible for a travel bursary of up to £100.
If you wish to attend the symposium, please complete the registration form (see link below) on or before 18th May 2025. Please note that Day 1 sessions will be delivered in person at Brunel University and online, and Day 2 sessions will be in-person only.
We hope this exciting two-day event will showcase excellent Computational Biology research and development from across the UK and foster long-lasting research collaborations. For more information and to register, please visit: https://www.bbs2025.co.uk/
