Ageing Research Showcase 2026
Brunel's public open day explores ageing-related research Join us for our fifth annual showcase, which takes place during a landmark year for Brunel, as we celebrate our 60th anniversary and excellence in ageing research. This event will bring together a range of engaging activities designed to highlight current research, encourage participation and spark conversation. What to expect: Health MOT; - Opportunities to take part in research projects; - Interactive workshops on various topics led by Brunel researchers; - Introduction to, and update on, the Ghana BORG (UGORG); - Screen Walk - a guided tour of iconic film locations across the Brunel campus (limited spaces); - Sound bath and meditation session (limited spaces). Sign up for all sessions is on the event day only. You are welcome to drop in at any point — and stay for as long as you like. We'll also be hosting a BBQ lunch, so do join us. A programme of activities will be provided nearer the time. Refreshments will be available from 9.30am, the day's events will start at 10am and we will finish with tea and cake at 3.30pm.
