Join us in our 60th anniversary year for a Showcase of Brunel's Research Excellence.

A dynamic celebration of cutting-edge research, innovation, and real-world impact across disciplines.

Across the day, explore a packed programme of talks, panels, demonstrations, tours, and interactive sessions led by Brunel’s leading researchers.

Discover hands-on demonstrations including hydrogen engine technology and VR cycling training or take guided tours of specialist facilities such as the Bio-imaging suite and Know Your Brain (neuropsychology). Short films will also spotlight doctoral research and innovations in hydrogen.

Key sessions include a panel on The Art and Science of Ageing Well, exploring health, happiness, and longevity; a lecture on Advanced materials and sustainable manufacturing for a circular economy; and a lively AI Adoption Podcast panel, unpacking real-world applications of artificial intelligence.

At lunchtime, the Poster Power Hour showcases impactful research tackling real societal challenges, followed by sessions on sustainability, carbon reduction in industry, and an interactive workshop on misinformation titled Weapons of Mass Persuasion.

The day continues with discussions on the future of UK energy systems, focusing on decarbonisation and digitalisation, before concluding with a high-profile panel debate Zeroing in on Net Zero

Finish the day with a relaxed drinks reception and networking opportunity in the Eastern Gateway Atrium.
