Brunel Business School's Professor Catherine Wang Wins Prestigious BAM Medal for Research

Brunel Business School is proud to announce that Professor Catherine Wang has been awarded the British Academy of Management (BAM) Medal for Research, a recognition of her significant and sustained contributions to management research and the BAM community.

In presenting the award, Professor Katy Mason, President of BAM, and Professor Emma Parry, Chair of BAM, said: “This includes your sustained contribution to research on the role of knowledge and learning in strategic decision making, entrepreneurial endeavours and innovative outcomes. The great value of your scholarly contribution is reflected in the committee’s decision to award you the BAM Medal for Research.”

Professor Wang joined Brunel University London in 2017 and went on to found the Interdisciplinary Research Centre for Entrepreneurship and Sustainability. She currently serves as REF Lead at Brunel Business School and is a Fellow of the ESRC Digital Good Network.

This award recognises not only her academic excellence but also her leadership in advancing entrepreneurship, innovation, and strategic management research.
