Brunel places highly in new Europe-wide rankings

QS – the company behind the 2024 QS World University Rankings, in which Brunel University London was listed as 40th best in the UK – have today released their first-ever QS Europe University Rankings, which put Brunel as equal 150th best in the whole of the continent. 

The new league table ranks a total of 690 universities across Europe, meaning that Brunel is ranked more highly than 78% of other institutions. 

Among other indicators, Brunel is ranked in the top 100 in Europe for: 

  • International faculty ratio (28th)
  • Citations per paper (58th)
  • International student diversity (55th)

Published by global higher education analyst Quacquarelli Symonds, QS ranks institutions on research, employment, learning, sustainability and ‘global engagement’, which looks at ratios of international students, staff and collaboration. It is the table potential students, academics and employers overseas look to most.
