Brunel ranked highly for engineering and computer science

Brunel University London has been ranked highly for teaching and research in two subject areas published this week by Times Higher Education.

Brunel was ranked between 151st and 175th best in the world for engineering and technology and between 201st and 250th globally for computer science.

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject take into account a range of performance indicators for Higher Education institutions worldwide, encompassing teaching, research, international outlook and innovation. These indicators are combined in tailored way to give area-specific rankings for a range of subjects, from arts and humanities and law to physical sciences.

The two subject areas ranked this week are covered by a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes delivered by Brunel’s College of Engineering, Design and Physical Sciences and by the world-leading research conducted by two major research institutes: the Institute of Energy Futures and the Institute of Materials and Manufacturing.
