Global Brunel: University ranked amongst the world's most international

World rankings 2022 920x540

Brunel University London has once again been ranked amongst the world’s most internationally-focussed institutions by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, improving on its year-on-year position for the 2022 league table.

The university is now ranked 23rd globally (5th in the UK) for its ‘International Outlook,’ up five places on last year.

The annual THE World University Rankings rate research-intensive universities from across the world across five criteria – their International Outlook, Citations, Teaching, Research and Industry Income – with the International Outlook category based on how well a university attracts international students and staff, and how successfully its researchers collaborate with colleagues from overseas.

Overall the university sits comfortably within the world’s top 400 universities.

Prof Trevor Hoey, Vice-Provost for International and Academic Partnerships, said: “Brunel is a fantastic, welcoming place for people from all over the world to work, research and study, and we are working hard to make Brunel a truly global university.

“We are proud of our international networks of partners, colleagues and friends, and we look forward to working with them to continue creating the very best opportunities for our students, staff and alumni.”
