On Wednesday 11 June, the Entrepreneur Hub had the pleasure of attending the Brunel Alumni Awards 2025 to celebrate achievements within the Brunel alumni community which featured our Venture Competition 2025 Awards.
We were thrilled to invite 2018 Product Design graduate Anil Puri back again to present the Entrepreneur Hub awards this year for the third year running. Anil has had an impressive entrepreneurial journey to date, sparked by winning the Venture Competition himself back in 2020, which resulted in him taking £5,000 funding home to further develop his business idea Pet Instincts, which has continued to flourish since. He is also a Managing Director at WeSprint, a global venture-building agency that specialises in advisory for commercial, investment and technology growth for new ventures, startups and innovation-driven organisations.
Anil was part of our expert judging panel at the Venture Competition finals, so he had the opportunity to really get to know each entrepreneur and their idea, allowing him to encourage and inspire them on their entrepreneurial journeys. Anil will continue to provide support to our finalists in the coming months through one-to-one mentoring as part of our online Summer Start-up Incubator Programme, which made it even more meaningful for him to hand out our awards at the celebratory event.
