For the second year in a row, the Brunel Entrepreneur Hub were able to proudly support a student in attending the prestigious EIT Health Top Female Founders Summer School, held this past July in Vienna.
We’re delighted to announce that Donya Mansouri, a second-year undergraduate Medicine (MBBS) student and founder of Tilapia Revive, was selected to participate in this fully funded programme alongside 83 other women from around the world, designed to empower the next generation of women entrepreneurs in healthcare.
The 2025 programme offered a blended learning experience, beginning with online modules in June, followed by an intensive in-person week in Vienna from 14–18 July. The initiative brought together women from engineering, medicine, life sciences and business to address real-world healthcare challenges through innovation and entrepreneurship.
Participants explored topics such as:
Donya's innovative startup, Tilapia Revive, is creating the Tilapia Face Mask (TFM)—a sustainable, biocompatible burn treatment made from tilapia-infused face sheets. This groundbreaking product is designed to accelerate healing, reduce scarring, and minimise pain, offering a cost-effective and eco-friendly alternative to traditional burn care.
To top it all off, Donya won the final pitch-off, impressing judges and fellow participants with her incredible vision and solution.
Huge congratulations to Donya! We're so proud of all you achieved this summer and to support rising female founders making a global impact in healthcare.
