Brunel University of London is proud to partner with The Melete Foundation, a UK charity founded by Sir John Chisholm and Lady Kitty Chisholm, to launch a new initiative supporting student-led social enterprise.
Starting in the 2025–2026 academic year, the Melete Social Impact Scholarships will back promising young changemakers with bold, sustainable business ideas that tackle real-world challenges. Run in partnership with the Brunel Entrepreneur Hub, the annual competition is open to all current students across disciplines who are using enterprise as a tool for social good.
Winners will receive £5,000 in funding, tailored mentoring and access to Melete’s network of innovators and leaders, providing both the resources and visibility to bring their ventures to life.
Unlike traditional grants, these scholarships invest in individuals with vision, grit and a clear plan to create lasting impact through business.
