Summary
I am a former AST and AHT. I have been chair of Harrow SACRE since 2008 and I support CPD for primary RE staff in Harrow. I support schools wishing to have a determination for collective worship but have led CPD on collective worship and written collective worship polices with schools.
I am a mother and a grandmother.
Started teaching in 1983: pre-national curriculum
Master’s degree in Education in 1995, Oxford (Teaching Literary Texts)
Gained Best Practice Research Scholarship in 2000 (Drama)
Wrote paper for NTRP and lead workshop at Birmingham Conference 2004 “Using drama to Improve Creative Writing”
Farmington Fellowship 2004 (Collective Worship)
Wrote paper for NTRP and led workshop 2006 “Collective worship – Meeting the needs of the school and the law”
