Summary

Anjaly joined Brunel in January 2020 as a Lecturer on the MSc Physician Associate Programme and has been involved with Brunel Medical School since 2021 and is Academic lead for Year 5 and Module lead for Psychology, Sociology and Lifestyle Medicine Phase 1 longitudinal module. 

Anjaly has a long standing interest in education and has been involved in the education of undergraduate and postgraduate medical students and allied health professionals since qualifying as a doctor.  She holds a MSc Medical Education from UCL/RCP. 

Anjaly is a porfolio General Practitioner, with a background in general surgery.  Alongside her work and Brunel she also works as a practising NHS GP and Medical Examiner.  She has 25 years experience as a qualified doctor working in the NHS in a number of specialities.  Her clinical interests include general practice, palliative care, general surgery, women's health, lifestyle medicine and wellbeing.  She is also a GP appraiser and has an interest in coaching and mentoring.
