Research supervision

At the University of Bremen, WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management and FU Berlin I supervised and co-supervised a total of eight PhD students to completion. Another student at the University of Bremen will complete their co-supervised PhD (in collaboration with the German Maritime Museum in Bremerhaven) by the end of May 2025. 

At BBS, I am currently co-supervising a PhD student in the field of organisational ambidexterity. 

I am interested in supervising PhD students in the following areas: Blue Economy (most notably, ocean impact startups or entrepreneurial ecosystems in coastal areas), interorganisational collaboration, family business governance, and entrepreneurship education.
