Summary

Chris is currently a Senior Lecturer in Criminology and Criminal Justice teaching on the (BSc) Professional Policing Degree programme, BSc Criminology undergraduate provision and the successful MSc Crime Science, Inverstigation and Intelligence course. Chris is also the Programme Lead for the Post Graduate course in Criminal Intelligence Analysis at Brunel. Previously he has also taught Criminology at the University of Gloucestershire.

Prior to academia Chris was a supervisory Police Detective specialising in sexual offending risk, professsional standards/counter corruption and serious and complex investigations. He was also a national Hostage and Crisis Negotiator and Kidnap Commander, an area he continues to research at doctoral level. 

As well as being a College of Policing Associate Chris is the External Examiner for the University of Gloucestershire's BSc Crime and Criminal Justice, BSc Criminology and Criminal Justice, BSc Criminology and Sociology and BA Sociology and Law courses.
