Dr Nolan's current areas of research include:

- Non-inferiority randomised controlled trial comparing pulmonary rehabiltiation delivered using minimal versus specialist equipment in people with chronic respiratory disease

- Co-design of a remote pulmonary rehabiltiation programme for people with interstitial lung disease

- Systematic review and meta-analysis of the effect of meditative movement in advanced disease

Research Interests

Dr Nolan's research interests include pulmonary rehabiltiation, alternative rehabiltiation strategies, physical activity, supplemental oxygen therapy, outcome measure validation in people with chronic respiratory disease, particularly chronic obstructive disease and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
