Summary
I am an interdisciplinary feminist scholar in the humanities. After completing my PhD in Gender Studies at SOAS, University of London in 2018, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Religious Studies at University of Cape Town, South Africa, from 2018 to 2020. In 2020-21 was an International Fellow of the Africa Multiple Cluster of Excellence at the University of Bayreuth, Germany, in the 'Moralities' research section. My first monograph Narrative, Identity and Ethics in Postcolonial Kenya The Young Women’s Christian Association was published by Bloomsbury Academic in July 2021.
I am currently in Accra, Ghana as Junior Fellow of Merian Institute for Advanced Studies in Africa (MIASA) at the University of Ghana.
