Mr Ethem Cubuk
PhD Student

Summary

Ethem joined the department of Life Science, division of Sport, Health and Exercise Sciences as a PhD researcher in 2023 after having previously been awarded a MSc in Physical Education and Sport Sciences (Sport Education) from Ankara University (Türkiye).

He worked as a physical education and sport teacher from 2018 to 2023 in Türkiye (Ministry of National Education).

His area of interest is coach / teacher pedagogy. His current research is about understanding coaches’ communities of practices in the UK

His supervisory team includes: Dr. Richard Blair, Prof. Vassil Girginov, Dr. Carla Harkness-Armstrong 

He is funded by Ministry of Youth and Sport and, Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Türkiye
