Summary

George Ofosu holds a PhD in Economic Geography and International Business, and an MSc in Transition Management from Justus Liebig University, Giessen, Germany. His research interest spans across the broad areas of international business in emerging markets, international management, and innovation. His current research focuses on the extractive industry, their organizing practices, business models, and impact on the natural environment. He is also interested in the value of Sino-Africa busines relations and partnerships, Citizen and DiY Science. His book, published by Springer, explores the 'golden' practices of small-scale mining in formalised settings. His research papers have been published in Journals such as: Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Technovation, Environmental Science and Policy, Journal of Rural Studies, Economic and Industrial Democracy, Resources Policy, Technology Analysis and Strategic Management, and Journal of Economic Issues.
