Summary
I did an undergraduate degree in Mathematics at Emmanuel College Cambridge (1971-1974) and then an MSc (1974-1975) and PhD (1975-1978) in Management Science at Imperial College, London. I then joined the faculty at Imperial College, working in the Business/Management School for over 25 years.
In September 2004 I left Imperial and became Professor of Operational Research in the Department of Mathematics, Brunel University London. I retired from Brunel in December 2013 and am currently an Emeritus Professor.
