Joshua has supervised nearly 20 students to doctoral completion on a variety of sub-diciplines, including many of those listed above. Topics supervised to completion include world trade law, land rights, intellectual property rights, minority rights, right to food and religion & comparative law. He has served as an external examiner at over twenty institutions in Britain, Ireland, Spain, South Africa and Hungary.
