Summary

I am a final-year PhD candidate in the Centre for Pollution Research and Policy. My project applies a systems-based approach to finding solutions to marine plastic pollution in Indonesia from the artisanal fisheries sector. 

I am passionate about tackling wicked environmental problems through whole-systems thinking and interdisciplinary approaches that create solutions which are not only effective, but truly sustainable. I am driven by the core question:How can communities, particularly those most vulnerable to environmental harms, thrive in the face of climate change and pollution while helping to shape and deliver solutions?
