Summary

Lili Toitot is a doctoral researcher at Brunel University London with funding from a Technè AHRC doctoral training partnership. She has a BA in History from the University of Grenoble-Alpes,  and an MA in Contemporary  History from the University of Birmingham. Her current research project investigates the use of gender representations in the construction of a unique memory narrative about the First and Second World War in Alsace, France.
