Senior Technician - Analytical Chemistry

Summary

I manage the chemistry laboratories and provide technical support to academics, postdoctoral fellows and provide training to students and staff with particular emphasis on analytical chemistry.

Responsibility

I am responsible for ensuring that laboratories and equipment are maintained. I undertake sample preparation and analysis, and I assist with contract work where applicable. I train others in the safe use of the equipment and ensure that is operated according to agreed procedures.
