Summary

Paula is focused on teaching in the field of Pelvic Health Physiotherapy. She has gained experience in both Pelvic Health Physiotherapy and management roles, having worked in three different UK NHS Trusts: Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, Barts Health NHS Trust and Cambridge University Hospitals. 

Currently, Paula is balancing her academic position at Brunel University with her role as the clinical lead for the Perinatal Pelvic Health Service in Southeast London and Neonatal clinical system (LMNS). The Perinatal Pelvic Health Service (PPHS) is a NHS England and NHS Improvement phased implementation pilot project. Its aim to enhance access to postnatal physiotherapy and multidisciplinary pelvic health clinics. 

In 2020, Paula began her tenure at Brunel University within the postgraduate program for Advanced Clinical Practice in Pelvic Health. 

Paula strongly supports interprofessional education and values collaborative team-centered learning.
