Summary

SinMun is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS). His expertise lies in the adoption and implementation of organisational-wide employee engagement surveys and performance measures to embed ethical and compliance behaviours in organisations, driving a data-driven approach to setting “the normative expected behaviour”. This approach improve targeted leadership growth, and fostering a culture of continuous professional development that drives performance excellence among executives. Currently, he leads the Business School's Executive Learning Solutions and oversees a portfolio of open CPD courses. In addition to his role on executive learning, SinMun serves as the Module Leader for Postgraduate Work Placement and Internship. He guides postgraduate students throughout their placement journeys, ensuring alignment with both professional objectives and academic requirements. His support includes academic mentorship, progress monitoring, and the maintenance of professional development records. Before joining Brunel, he worked as a psychometrician with a psychometric test publisher in London, where he leads an international team of analysts to deliver assessment projects. He continues to consult for assessment providers in Southeast Asia, where he ensures that assessment tools meet rigorous standards of reliability, validity, and cultural relevance. He has contributed to numerous talent assessment projects, leveraging AI to enhance assessment accuracy, streamline validation processes, and improve scalability for assessment publishers. SinMun is passionate about inclusive talent development and empowers individuals from diverse backgrounds through tailored support and inclusive practices, promoting personal and professional growth. Collaborating with the University's Professional Development Centre, he aims to bridge the gap between education and industry, enabling individuals to realise their potential and achieve meaningful outcomes at work.
