Summary

I am a Doctoral Researcher funded by the College of Health, Medicine and Life Sciences (CHMLS) PhD Studentship. My work integrates a bioenergetic framework to understand how protists respond to environmental change by altering the energy allocated to key biological processes. My work links changes at the cellular level to larger community-level patterns to predict how anthropogenic stressors like pollution and warming might alter aquatic microbial communities, with cascading effects across the food web - from primary producers to top predators

I am supervised by Dr Daniel Perkins, Dr Julia Reiss and Dr Thomas Miller.

 I hold a bachelor's degree in Zoology from University College London, and a Master’s degree in Biodiversity and Conservation from Queen Mary University of London.
