Summary
Sunaina Mamgai heads the university-wide business transformation and change function, with oversight of the full portfolio of organisational delivery. This spans business transformation and change, across multiple portfolios (Digital Transformation, Estates and Facilities, and Commercial), bringing a coordinated and strategically aligned approach across all areas of investment and delivery.
Sunaina works in close partnership with executives and senior stakeholders to assess new initiatives, shape them into deliverable programmes, and support decision-making on portfolio entry, prioritisation, and sequencing.
She leads the coordination of portfolio-level reporting and analysis, providing strategic insight on delivery performance, risks, and opportunities. This includes identifying and managing cross-portfolio risks, resolving conflicts in priorities, and ensuring alignment to the university’s strategic objectives.
A core part of Sunaina’s role is optimising the use of organisational resources across competing demands. She makes recommendations on the allocation of financial and people resources across initiatives, identifies capacity gaps, and drives planning approaches that enable the organisation to deliver effectively through peak and complex periods.
Sunaina also acts as a central point of expertise for portfolio, programme, and project delivery, providing guidance to teams and senior stakeholders on best practice, governance expectations, and delivery approaches.
