Summary

Tabitha Carless-Frost is a AHRC TECHNE funded Doctoral Researcher in Creative Writing at Brunel University, supervised by Professor Bernardine Evaristo and Dr Hannah Lowe. 

Their research is interested in haunting, disability studies, memoir, autofiction and autotheory, psychoanalysis, and pathography. They are also the writer and director of an ecological-horror short film, 'Out of the Peat', which was nominated for Best British Short at London Short Film Festival 2025 and premiered at BFI Southbank in Janurary 2025. 

Their writing has been stocked at Treadwell’s Books and has been published in SANS Press, Women’s Studies, t’ART magazine, Crumble, Horizon MagazineMxogyny, and at the Museum of Sex Objects. They hold an MA in Creative Writing from Royal Holloway (Distinction) and a BA in English and History of Art from the University of Edinburgh (First Class Honours).
