Professor Gareth Taylor Appointed was appointed as Lead for the Energy and Power Strategic Challenge Area from 1st January 2026.
The Energy and Power Strategic Research Challenge Area aims to advance the sustainability, resilience and performance of energy systems across sectors, from generation and distribution to end-use applications. By integrating expertise in power systems, advanced powertrains, sustainable fuels and energy-efficient technologies, we develop innovative solutions that address the growing global demand for clean, reliable and affordable energy.
