4th International Conference on Advances in Solidification Processes

The 4th International Conference on Advances in Solidification Processes (ICASP-4) on the 8th – 11th July 2014. ICASP-4 is a 4-day scientific conference, held to celebrate solidification research, to discuss the latest progress, and to debate future challenges.

This year marks the 60th anniversary of “constitutional supercooling” (published in Acta Metallurgica 1953), which is widely regarded as the beginning of modern quantitative solidification science. The conference includes 16 plenary lectures, oral and poster presentations and a variety of networking opportunities amongst members of the solidification community.
Held at Beaumont Estate, Old Windsor, the venue offers stunning surroundings close to London.
